Trip & Course Policies

Payment Policy

Many of our trips and courses require a deposit to reserve your spot. The deposit amount for each trip and course is listed on its web page. Full payment is due 60 days before your trip or course.

Some of our trips and courses require full payment to reserve your spot.

If you register 60 days or fewer before any trip or course, full payment is required to reserve your spot.

Payments must be made in US dollars. We accept major debit and credit cards.

Cancelation Policy

If you decide to cancel your registration, we’ll issue a refund subject to a cancellation fee based on how many days before your trip or course we receive your cancellation request.

Days Before Your Trip or Course Cancellation Fee
90 or more days

No cancellation fee. We’ll issue a full refund, including your deposit (if applicable).

60 to 89 days

For trips and courses that require a deposit to reserve your spot, the cancellation fee is equal to the deposit amount.

For trips and courses that require full payment to reserve your spot, the cancellation fee is 20% of the trip or course price.

30 to 59 days

The cancellation fee is 50% of the trip or course price.

29 or fewer days

The cancellation fee is 100% of the trip or course price.

The Bad Adventure Company LLC reserves the right to cancel trips and courses. We’re not responsible for expenses you incurred preparing for your trip or course, including airline tickets and equipment purchases.

Late Arrivals and Early Departures

If you arrive late to a trip or course, we will try to accommodate you but are not always able to. Any additional expenses you incur as a result of arriving late to a trip or course or departing before the end of a trip or course are your sole responsibility. Refunds are not issued for arriving late to a trip or course or for departing before the end of a trip or course.

Itinerary Changes

Advertised trip and course itineraries are not always followed precisely. Sometimes factors including - but not limited to - weather conditions, water conditions, permit availability, and scheduling, cause us to make itinerary changes, both in advance of a trip or course and while operating it.

Age Requirement

Unless otherwise stated on a trip or course web page, you must be at least 18 years of age to participate in the trips and courses we offer.

Assumption of Risk, Release of Liability, and Indemnification Agreement

By registering for a trip or course, you agree to the terms of the Bad Adventure Company LLC Release of Liability. You must read and sign a copy of the agreement to participate in a trip or course.
